Diverse, original and passionate, Just BGRAPHIC is a modern movement of progressive artist united with experienced educators on a bold mission to revolutionize art based education. We create programs that align with the Ministry of Education guidelines for students in middle and high school, including Specialist High School Major (SHSM). We provide youth and communities with experiential learning

and career exploration activities that include conferences, symposiums, job fairs and tours of various professional art spaces. We are passionate for progressive arts education that challenges the norms of a eurocentric education. We believe that using arts as a conduit to educate creates opportunities for communities to combat racism through education. BGRAPHIC”, echoes the voices of aspiring artists on a quest to live authentically in their creative destiny. It fuels the commitment of our team to build safe, accessible, non-hobbyist programs for students to explore the nooks of their creative identity, and find agency in art inspired from an inclusive curriculum centred on diversity. As a collective of artists and educators we seek to turn the taste of raw talent into an ambitious appetite for young artists to learn and grow. As an arts education organization, we believe that there is an obligation to constantly push the boundaries of education; forever keeping up with the ever changing landscape called life.

Black History Month is often treated as a moment. At Just BGRAPHIC, we treat it as a practice.

More than a single story, the Black experience is not a monolith — and neither is Black history. Our work centres the diversity, complexity, and evolving nature of Black life in Canada and across the diaspora.

Programs are intentionally designed to move beyond surface-level celebrations and into deeper engagement with history, culture, identity, and student voice.

Ask about keynote speaking, assemblies, workshops, and BSA partnerships for elementary, middle, and high schools.

Programming can be integrated into Intermediate and Senior History, Equity, Civics, Geography, Art, Dance, Computer Technology, and Fashion Graphics classes.

Dance Revolt Returns: Out of Many, One People

Culture in motion. Community in action.

This year’s event connects dance and cultural celebration with direct support for Jamaica following Hurricane Melissa.

In partnership with the Jamaica Canadian Association and The Mico University College Alumni, featuring scholarships and education pathways for Jamaican descendants abroad.
On-site donation drive supporting JCA + a limited-edition MELANIN Jamaica shirt (“Out of Many, One People”), with $5 from each shirt donated. Quantities limited.

Includes a live tribute honouring Jamaican cultural pioneers and the legacy of The Caribbean Crucible radio show on CHRY 105.5 FM at York University.
