We believe in morality and ethics based on love, compassion, diversity and co-operation. We accept people of all ages, ethnicities and sexual orientations. What do we mean when we call ours a liberal religion? We mean that we are a people wh

o are:
- accepting and tolerant of the views of others;
- involved in the progress of knowledge and understanding;
- supporting the personal freedom of the individual. This we desire to bequeath to our children and our children's children.

“Remembering Pat Trudeau”
Speaker: Rev. Carly Murlor

We are all in shock and grieving with the sudden passing of our beloved Patricia Trudeau. Former minister of this congregation and a friend to us all, she will be dearly missed. Our thoughts and love are also with Wilburn and Donovan in this time of incredible grief.

This Sunday we will have a circle of remembrance, where we will gather to share stories and memories of Pat. Through our tears, we will honour the beauty, insight, wisdom, laughter, and joy she brought to our lives.

Note: The previously scheduled Fire Communion Service will happen on January 18th.

Welcome all. Whoever you are we welcome you. Wherever you come from, we welcome you. Whomever you love, we welcome you.

Dear all - we have lost one of our own dear ministers. Rev. Patricia Trudeau passed away suddenly from a stroke near midnight on December 27. Her beloved Wilburn and Donovan were with her.

We are in shock and mourning. Let us hold Wiburn, Donovan and Pat's loved ones close in our hearts, and be gentle with ourselves as we grieve the loss of Pat's bright spirit in our world.

Information about a memorial service will be shared later on.

For now, Neighbourhood UU Congregation is holding an in-person grief circle on Friday, Jan 2, at 7pm ET to come together and share our memories. (310 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4K 1N6)
