Spreading smiles on and off campus...

Inspired by the poverty among the communities so close to home, I have decided to initiate a movement which aims to better the lives of underprivileged youth. This will be made possible through innovative programs, workshops and initiatives that will spread smiles, while emphasizing the importance of education.

Currently we are putting an emphasis on helping underprivileged students within the necessitous communities surrounding York University. We focus on funding field trips and running after school programs for students at schools. Not only do our after school programs teach students the importance of education by encouraging them to complete their homework, they also create a positive environment for them to interact with each other and our volunteers while building friendly relationships with one another.

It is my hope that Spreading Smiles at York University will continue to connect those who are willing to help and united we can continue to spread smiles to all, because everyone deserves to smile. 😊
