Journey participant, Alex Hepner, invited us to join him as he rang the gong at The Princess Margaret after completing radiation treatment — surrounded by the family and friends who have supported him every step of the way.

At just 25, Alex was diagnosed with a rare brain tumour. Thanks to innovative research, compassionate care, and the expertise of his care team, Alex has been able to return to the things he loves, including work, hockey, and time with the people closest to him. He continues to inspire through his resilience, advocacy, and commitment to giving back as a Journey participant.

Alex, thank you for letting us share this milestone with you. We’re honoured to Journey alongside you and celebrate every step forward. 💙
