British pop icon Boy George and Culture Club are coming to Vancouver as part of the PNE/Playland’s 2026 Summer Night Concerts series on September 7. Recently, many were moved by his powerful AI-assisted single, We Will Dance Again, expressing solidarity with Israel and remembering the victims of the October 7 terrorist attacks.

Now, ahead of his Vancouver appearance, the PNE has received complaints, requests for refunds, and calls to cancel the concert.

The PNE has rightly said the show will go on.

In response to the calls for cancellation, the PNE reaffirmed its “strong position of non-censorship,” its commitment to freedom of expression, and its longstanding tradition of allowing audiences to decide which artists they want to see and support.

Artists should not face demands for cancellation because they express solidarity with Israelis, commemorate victims of terrorism, or use their art to bring people together.

Take action today. Thank the PNE for standing by its commitment to artistic freedom and freedom of expression — and show Boy George that Canada welcomes him.

Action alert

The United States has designated Palestine Action and Masar Badil as sanctioned terrorist entities. Canada should follow suit and urgently list them as terrorist entities.

Last week, thousands of Canadians called on the Government of Canada to urgently list terrorist entities that threaten Canadians, including Kata'ib Hezbollah, Palestine Action Canada, and Masar Badil.

Palestine Action Canada has targeted strategic Canadian industries, while its UK counterpart is already designated a terrorist organization. Masar Badil is inextricably linked with Samidoun, a listed terrorist entity in Canada. Kata'ib Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for attacks in Canada.

Canada must get tough on terrorism and take the strongest possible measures to ensure terrorist organizations, their supporters and their proxies cannot operate in our country.

Take two minutes to tell the Government to take urgent action:

The Globe and Mail has confirmed what we have been warning about for months.

Internal CMHR minutes show that multiple trustees raised serious concerns about the Nakba exhibit before it opened—including its accuracy, lack of oversight, reputational damage and impact on fundraising.

Trustees proposed delaying or restructuring the exhibit and allowing public consultation. They were voted down.

The Globe also reports that major donors paused fundraising campaigns, while CEO Isha Khan reportedly told trustees they were not her “boss.”

Former trustee Mark Berlin, who resigned in protest, put it plainly:

“There are no checks and balances happening here any more.”

This is bigger than one exhibit. It is about accountability at a federally funded Crown corporation receiving more than $28 million a year from taxpayers.

Canadians deserve an independent review.

The truth is finally coming out.

“Today, the US designated Palestine Action and Masar Badil as t€rrorist organizations.

Palestine Action is a radical UK-based group that has been carrying out acts of terror since 2020.

Masar Badil is a front group for the PFLP t€rrorist organization.”
