Celebrating Emerging Leader Sheyma alongside 2026 ONE City Scholars Jasiah and Jahvaun at the Black Student Post-Secondary Engagement Symposium at Birchmount CI.

Introducing the 2026 recipients of The ONE City Emerging Leaders Scholarship. Past winners of the ONE City Scholarship, these recipients are entering their third year of post-secondary study and each of them is a newcomer or a child of newcomers.

We are so grateful for the support of the Moez & Marissa Kassam Equity Fund, who understand what a gift newcomers are to our city and how important it is to support young people to reach their dreams!

We get a lot of questions about the ONE City Scholarship, so here’s what you need to know:

If you’re a TDSB student graduating in 2026 and heading to post secondary, you’re eligible to apply.

This year we’re awarding 47 scholarships worth $3,000 each, paid over two years.

Applications close March 23, so make sure you get yours in before the deadline.
