BANA Publishes Guidance on Transcribing Mathematics and Science in UEB - At its face-to-face meeting in May, the Braille Authority of North America (BANA) approved Guidance on Transcribing Mathematics and Science in UEB. This publication replaces Provisional Guidance on Transcribing Mathematics in UEB and is now available in PDF and BRF versions on the BANA website. The newly adopted guidance document incorporates recent revisions to the international publication Guidelines for Technical Material, section 1.7 Choice and Placement of Grade 1 Indicators, by the International Council on English Braille (ICEB). The guidance document also includes an expanded selection of examples to illustrate transcription of math and science expressions in UEB. the document can be found at the follosing link: https://www.brailleauthority.org/unified-english-braille-codebooks
