✨ Year-End Message | IANT Co-Presidents Sharon Castelino, MBA, LLM, ICD.D & Mariana Fonar, MBA, JD:

As we close another exceptional year, we’re grateful for the momentum and impact across the Ivey Alumni Network Toronto Chapter (IANT).

In 2025, through thought leadership, community-building, and showcasing exceptional Ivey alumni, the Toronto Chapter created meaningful opportunities for nearly 18,000 alumni to learn, lead, and give back — spanning up to eight decades of graduating classes.

We welcomed a refreshed IANT Executive Committee for 2025 and extend our sincere thanks to Taryn Lipschitz (HBA ’09) for four years of extraordinary service, and Alison Taylor (MBA ’20) for her contributions.

We also welcome Jennifer Wittig (EMBA ’24), Isabelle Osmar (EMBA ’24) and JT Steinberg (HBA ’25).

Congratulations to Larissa Chaikowsky (MBA ’04) on her appointment as Chair, Ivey Alumni Network Board, and our best wishes to Lisa Dymond (MBA ’06).

2025 Highlights included:

• Private Equity & Housing policy panels
• Global Ivey Day celebrations across 100+ countries
• Reindustrializing Canada discussions
• Women’s Health Forum
• Governance leadership at TMX
• Community service at Daily Bread Food Bank

To every Ivey alum who attended events, engaged online, or rallied classmates — thank you. Your participation strengthens our community and amplifies Ivey’s impact.

As we look ahead, 2026 programming is well underway, and we welcome alumni volunteers to get involved.

Wishing you a happy, healthy, and restorative holiday season.

Go Ivey! 💚💜

Last Saturday, twenty-four Ivey Alumni and fellow family members volunteered at the Daily Bread Food Bank (DBFB)! 💜💚

With the guidance of Heather Valentino, VP of Operations at the DBFB, volunteers began their day touring the facilities and learning about the inner workings of one of the largest food distribution hubs in Toronto. They then helped sort 2,826 lbs of food donations – and had loads of fun while doing so! Lastly, they presented the DBFB with a $500 donation on behalf of the Ivey Alumni Network Toronto.

Thank you to all our volunteers for dedicating their time on the weekend to support a great cause!

The New Restaurant Economy: Investing at the Intersection of Food, Real Estate & Technology 🍴

On January 29, we’re not just talking about food — we’re asking the real question: Where’s the profit?

Spoiler: It’s at the intersection of tech, real estate, and taste. 🙌

Join us for an insider conversation with the award-winning Chef Nuit Regular, alongside Oren Borovitch, HBA '10 and Mat Abramsky, HBA '05 — the trailblazers behind KitchenHub — as they unpack how digital innovation, real estate strategy, and next-gen culinary design are rewriting the economics of eating.

Discover why the future of food lies in tech-enabled kitchens, data-driven operations, and scalable real estate partnerships.

Private equity investors, family offices, tech leaders, and real estate innovators — this is where your next food-tech opportunity may be hiding.

And yes, you’ll get to sample some of KitchenHub’s dishes from restaurants such as Pai, Mandy's, Wingstop, Cafe Landwer and others. Seats are limited!
