International Horn Day

International Horn Day Horn players worldwide share the majesty of our instrument: Nov. 3 is Saint Hubert's day, Patron Saint of the Hunt. Polish your horn and perform in public!

Started by Joan Watson and Gloria Ratcliffe, the inaugural International Horn Day event was held in Toronto, Canada in November of 2006. Since then, this unique and inspiring annual event has brought together professional, amateur and student horn players to share their love and enthusiasm for the majesty of the horn. Family, friends, and horn enthusiasts alike are welcome to attend the evening co

ncert, which has grown in popularity every year. Tentative daytime activities for 2014 will include masterclasses, vendor tables, rehearsals, coachings, and opportunities to socialize with other professional, amateur, and student horn players. In the future, we hope that International Horn Day will truly be a worldwide event, with coordinated concerts in city centers everywhere.
