Toronto International Deaf Film and Arts Festival are saddened by the sudden loss of Kaylee Hottle, an amazing, thriving Deaf actress, best known as "Jia" in the “Godzilla Vs Kong” blockbuster films in 2021 and "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" in 2024. Kaylee’s smile and her talent was shown on the big screen at TIDFAF 2017 at the Hot Docs Rogers Bloor Cinema Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema in “10 Deaf Children and one Powerful Message,” produced and directed by Sheena McFeely’s company, ASL Nook!
