Nature in the City: Urban Forest Stewards We strive to increase awareness around urban forests. Our web app, helps bring young people together to learn about urban forests and their importance.

Our project is aimed to improve the integrity and presence of urban forests. We intend to inspire and educate communities within urban areas about the importance of proactive environmental maintenance, as well as the ecological, social, and economic benefits associated with them. Through our web app [www.ryersonnc.ca] we are able to offer an interactive platform where people are able to engage wit

h trees, learning about their ecological services and benefits. Our intention is to inspire people to become invested in their urban forest, as well as diversify and maintain Toronto's urban forest!
