We are happy to support The Meeting Place at with a winter donation! Thanks to our volunteers, generous community donations and we were able to donate the following new items (just to name a few) - 🧢 50 hats and headbands, 👕 42 sweaters and shirts, 🪥 50 hygiene items, 🧦 12 socks, 🧤 8 gloves and 🧥 4 winter coats ♥️❄️

Fix the 6ix supported the work of Homeless Connect Toronto at their final Community Connect event of the year!

Thanks to generous donations from our community, we were able to supply 80 Summer Safety Kits including hygiene items and summer essentials such as:
🌞 Sunscreen
🧢 Baseball caps
💦 Reusable water bottles
🫧 Shampoo

Summer heat can pose serious health risks to people who are unhoused. It is just as important to alleviate the risks of living outdoors in the summer, as it is in the winter!☝🏽

We’re grateful to have been selected by Global Citizen to share our message - Humanize Homelessness — at the Coldplay Toronto Tour. 💛✨

At our booth, fans took part in an immersive, empathy-driven experience — writing heartfelt cards filled with hope and encouragement for those experiencing homelessness.

Moments like these remind us: when we come together, we can build a kinder, more compassionate world.

What an unforgettable weekend at 2025! ☀️ The team had an amazing time connecting with our community, handing out sweet treats 🍬, and gathering powerful messages of support for our unhoused neighbours.

Through sunshine and smiles, we shared real stories that humanize the housing crisis, because awareness starts with conversation. 💬💛 Let’s keep the dialogue going and keep showing up for one another.🙌🏼

Hi all, as Fix the Six works closely we want to share this message with you and ask your help in supporting its work in sustaining the community- building work of the house.

West Neighbourhood House, formerly known as St. Christopher House, has been a multi-service neighbourhood centre serving all age groups in downtown West Toronto since 1912. From the start, our organization has been dedicated to fostering caring relationships and building bridges between people with differing views. We believe these are the best long-term strategies for creating a more equitable and inclusive society for everyone.

During National Volunteer Week, from April 14-20, 2024, Fix the 6ix extends ourt heartfelt appreciation to all current and past volunteers and organizations we’ve partnered with, who have selflessly dedicated their time to address homelessness in the City of Toronto. Whether it was spending your weekends at shelters assembling care packages, amplifying the voices of individuals who are experiencing homelessness to foster better understanding, or collecting gift cards for charitable solutions, your contributions are deeply valued. We have several outreach events planned in the coming months and are always seeking additional support.
