The Shayam Kaushal Charitable Foundation has been created to honour the memory of Shayam Kaushal (May 24th, 1968 – Feb.10th 2009) who passed away after a courageous 8 year battle with Osteosarcoma. Shayam graduated from York University where he was actively involved with student government and athletics as a champion tennis player. He continued his passion to be involved well after university in s
uch charitable organizations as the Terry Fox run and the Alpha Foundation as well as being past president of the Independent Mortgage Brokers Association. He was sustained throughout his struggle with Osteosarcoma by his guiding values of hope, strength and determination. His devotion to his business was only surpassed by that to his family. Shayam was very charitable with his time and effort that he gave of freely to many people and organizations. He will always be remembered by many for his generosity in this regard. It is for this reason the foundation is in existence, to keep the generosity of his spirit alive forever. IN ORDER TO REALISE OUR VISION
