Join us as we celebrate the 35th Anniversary of Vseslovenski kulturni odbor (VSKO) and Radio Glas Kanadskih Slovencev Toronto (RGKS).

This extraordinary concert will be the culmination to our project “35 Years Together - Our Voice, Our Culture, Our Community”. This event will pay tribute to the 35 years of service VSKO & RGKS have given to the Slovenian Community and mark the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Slovenia.

Headlining this exclusive concert - Kvatropirci from Slovenia.Easily one of the most recognizable vocal groups in Slovenia, Kvatropirci will present a stunning concert sure to captivate the entire audience.

🌟 Bus to Martyr's Shrine Pilgrimage | Saturday, September 12, 2026.

A bus has been arranged leaving Our Lady of Miraculous Medal Church (739 Browns Line) at 7:45am sharp to arrive at Martyrs Shrine well before the 10:30am Memorial Service at the Cross.
Stations of the Cross are at 11:00am, Mass at 12:00 noon.
The return bus will leave Martyrs Shrine at 2:30pm to return to Our Lady of Miraculous Medal, at approximately 4:30pm.

The price is $42.00 per person (includes the admission fee into the Shrine).

Please contact Rozie at the church office at 416-255-2721 no later than Friday, August 7th, 2026 to confirm and make reservations.

Special Performance: Folklorna skupina Leščeček

We are thrilled to announce that Folklorna skupina Leščeček will be touring through Quebec and Southern Ontario! Representing the vibrant heritage of the Eastern Štajerska, Prlekija and Pomurje regions, this dynamic ensemble of young dancers, singers, and musicians is dedicated to keeping Slovenian traditions alive with unmatched energy and passion.

We are honoured to host a short, special appearance by the group in Hamilton:

When: 📌 WEDNESDAY, JULY 15, 2026

Where: 📍St. Gregory the Great Slovenian Church

Time: During the 7pm evening Mass

Highlights: Several members will present a short showcase of their traditional program.

Special Canadian tour news:
After a long drought, finally, a folklore group will be travelling to Quebec + southern Ontario. For those around in early July, Folklorna skupina Leščeček will have a short tour to see the sites and enjoy the hospitality of Slovenians on this side of the Atlantic.

This group skyrocketed quickly to become one of the very best groups in Slovenija after being established 20 years ago, representing the culture of Eastern Stajerska and Pomurje. Not only are they detailed in costuming, singing, music but also dance. Dare you to watch them and not want to join in ...
