Global Medical Training is an International Humanitarian Organization that provides free medical-dental services to medically deprived communities in Central American communities while concurrently providing eager students with the opportunity to experience the medical profession first-hand. GMT at U of T aims to make the experience as easy as possible for new students. The organization assists st

udents in meeting fellow students before departure, conducting training workshops, and facilitating access to financial aid opportunities. After the trip, GMT helps students stay in contact through general meetings, social events and volunteer activities in the community. Also, the club will provide a forum for continued involvement in helping GMT service communities in a variety of ways: recruiting new students, obtaining medical donations, etc.
