Applications are now open for our first Exploring Practice workshop of the season: Introduction to Theatre Translation with Leanna Brodie!

Running from November 24th-28th, this introductory course aims to give participants ways to approach the enriching craft of theatre translation through the exploration of specific questions. In this workshop, participants will learn to think about the mission and challenges of a play while exploring the process behind translating a piece of theatre.

Please note that the workshop will run primarily in English, with interpretation between English and French as needed. Applicants curious about translating other languages are encouraged to apply: many of the same principles and skills will be transferable. Participants may come with a play translation in mind or be matched up with a play for the purposes of this class.

Apply by October 25th, 11:59 PM EST! Learn more by visiting our website or the link in our bio.
