Bring together curators, galleries and audiences through a dynamic exhibition project. 🤝
The Curatorial Projects: Indigenous and Culturally Diverse program supports Ontario-based Indigenous curators and curators who are people of colour in presenting exhibitions, publications, arts education and outreach activities, as well as mentorship opportunities.
Applications are submitted jointly by an Ontario-based curator and an Ontario public gallery, artist-run centre, or other not-for-profit arts presenter, with either partner serving as the lead applicant.

'Beauty and the Beast: The Fairy-tale Game-show Musical' created by celebrated Nova Scotian artists Dan Bray and GaRRY Williams, is in production now at Shakespeare by the Sea! 🌹

In this original, musical reimagining of the classic fairy tale, poor provincial production assistant Belle finds herself working on the most romantic reality show in all the kingdom: Beauty and the Bachelor! The prince – who has been magically transformed into (you guessed it) a beast – must find his true love before the clock runs out. Luckily, there’s an entire cast of prospective princesses fighting for his paw! Unluckily, fame and social media have turned the prince into a real (you guessed it) beast. Can Belle teach him to look past appearances? Can she help the princesses find validation beyond their fairy tale tropes? Will Beast find someone to accept his enchanted rose before he gets trapped in his monstrous form forever – and can he even become a person worth loving? Maybe!

Applications are now open for the 12th edition of the Cole Foundation Mentorship for Emerging Translators!

In partnership with the Cole Foundation, PWM offers this early-career program to mentor emerging translators who are ready to develop a more nuanced understanding of their practice. The successful applicant will receive a $2,000 honorarium and a mentorship with acclaimed theatre translator, Alexis Diamond, for guidance on every aspect of creating a new French to English translation. This development process will include a workshop with actors and a public reading. The mentorship begins in November 2026, and lasts for approximately one year.
