With a strong commitment to community advocacy, Elissa has spent years creating spaces for Black youth to connect, speak up, and be heard. Now a fourth-year criminology student at the University of Ottawa, she is passionate about criminal justice reform, social justice, and addressing anti-Black racism in education and policing.
