Project Sunshine Canada

Project Sunshine Canada Volunteers selflessly donate their time to create program materials and deliver programs.

Project Sunshine Canada is a non-profit organization that provides free social, educational and recreational programs to children and families affected by medical challenges in Canada and Internationally. Project Sunshine empowers a dynamic and dedicated corps of over 10,000 volunteers to bring programming - recreational, educational and social service - to over 60,000 children facing medical chal

lenges and their families in 150 major cities across the United States, Canada, China, Israel, Kenya and Puerto Rico. Working onsite, our volunteers relieve the anxiety of the young patients and in a context of fun and play, foster in them the courage and coping skills necessary to confront procedures that lie ahead. Project Sunshine volunteers spread sunshine, restoring a crucial sense of normalcy to the pediatric healthcare environment.

April is Volunteer Appreciation Month! 🌟

On April 2nd, Project Sunshine Canada teamed up with Aviva and the Carers Community for a nationwide kit-packing event in support of pediatric patients and their families. With over 100 volunteers across Markham, Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa, Dartmouth, and Montreal, this incredible day of service brought communities together coast to coast. We’re so grateful for the continued support of our amazing corporate partners!
