Those first months with a baby can be full of love, learning and a lot of “am I doing this right?” moments. 💙

Baby Love is a free 10-week program for parents and caregivers with babies ages 2 to 14 months, designed to support bonding, attachment and connection during this important stage.

It’s a gentle space to learn, ask questions, connect with your baby and feel supported alongside other parents and caregivers.

👶 Free 10-week program
🗓 Wednesdays from June 17 to August 19, 2026
⏰ 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

June is Men’s Health Month, a time to recognize the physical, mental and emotional well-being of men and boys.

For boys and young men, health is shaped early by the messages, relationships and supports around them. It includes learning how to care for themselves, build healthy relationships, ask questions and reach out when something does not feel right.

At Yorktown, we believe every child and youth deserves care rooted in safety, connection and respect. This month, we are reminded that supporting young boys’ health starts early, with listening, encouragement and helping them know that love and care is something they deserve.

If your child or family could use support, Yorktown is here to help. Learn more at yorktownfamilyservices.com.

June is National Indigenous History Month in Canada, a time to recognize the history, heritage, resilience and diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Métis.

At Yorktown, this month is also a reminder of our ongoing commitment to Truth and Reconciliation. Through learning, listening and reflection, we continue to consider how we can better show up for Indigenous children, youth, families, staff and communities.

This month and throughout the year, we honour Indigenous histories, cultures and strengths, while continuing the work of reconciliation with care and respect.

Pride Month is a time to celebrate 2SLGBTQ+ communities, recognize their resilience and honour the right of every person to feel safe, valued and seen for who they are.

For young people, that sense of belonging can make a meaningful difference. When youth are supported in their identity, connected to affirming spaces and able to access care without judgment, it can help strengthen their mental health and well-being.

At Yorktown, Rainbow West provides 2SLGBTQ+ youth ages 12 to 29 in West Toronto with access to mental health supports, drop-in programming, youth-led initiatives and a safe, welcoming space for q***r and trans youth.

This Pride Month, we celebrate identity, community and the ongoing work of creating spaces where every young person knows they belong.
