Thanks to members of BLMTO- Healing network - a group of people that got together through tent city to help the black community in healing, the tlcfybb was originally created as an event to support mental and spiritual health of the black and indigenous activist community in toronto, and now it supports all black and indigenous peoples of toronto. This page was created to support the event and the
community surrounding it. The event details are as follows
Once a month on the last Sunday, working out of space kindly donated by the Six Degrees Health, we invite all black and indigenous identified folks to come receive free spiritual healing and counselling, acupuncture, massage therapy and free space for yoga and more services. All this because we know that proactive healing must be part of our liberatory practices and continued resistance. We thus wish to create a healing space supported by communities of healers for our communities. Child minding services will be provided. TTC tokens will be available. Please note this is on a first come first serve basis with our muslim family members, BLMTO Organizers and Elders to be prioritized. We welcome all bipoc healers. If you are a healer and would like to donate your services at any of our events - we would love for you to get in contact with us.
