The society's mandate also in

SAS’ Summer Internship Reels: Episode 5 🎬💫

Follow Zohaib as he shares what his summer looked like as an Audit & Assurance Intern at EY Toronto! As part of EY’s Financial Services Organization (FSO), Zohaib had the opportunity to work on audits across different areas of the financial services industry. Throughout the summer, he was involved in testing financial information, documenting audit procedures, assisting with walkthroughs, tests of controls, and working closely with his team to support their engagements.

Beyond the work itself, Zohaib also got to take part in some of EY’s firm-wide events and connect with other interns and professionals along the way.

Meet Noa as she walks you through the life of a Finance Intern at TD Bank. In her role, Noa reviews and reconciles financial data across multiple reports, validates figures to ensure accuracy and consistency and updates reporting files in Excel and Word. Her work helps the team prepare accurate financial reports for publication while supporting efficient reporting processes.

Meet Karli as she gives us a look into her experience as an Assurance Intern at PwC’s Toronto office! As part of the GPD Core Assurance practice, Karli supports a client in the EUMI (Energy, Utilities, Mining and Infrastructure) sector. From working in Excel and documenting audit procedures to collaborating with her team and attending meetings, she enjoys that no two days look exactly the same.
