Celebrate an Accessible Disability Affirming Caribbean Carnival MAS experience. Celebrating Afro-Caribbean culture and identity by honouring our Disabilities/ Neurodivergence and LOVE for Soca music.

Presented by founder Marty Lampkin of Martylampkinspeaks.com, we invite you to come out and get ready to wuk up in celebration of the Carnival MAS in ways that honour your Disability needs. Bring yuh flags and get ready to enjoy di MAS.

The event honours all disability needs and is gender-inclusive created exclusively for individuals who identify as disabled/ living with disabilities and their caregivers/ support workers.

This event has been specifically designed by the vision of Marty Lampkin to address the Anti-black Racism within the Disability Sector and Ableism that results in exclusion, isolation and segregation for Disabled African, Caribbean, Black community members and their caregivers from fully participating in the Toronto Caribbean Carnival Parade.
Masabilities specifically highlights Afro-Caribbean Disabled and non-Disabled Artists, Creatives, Vendors and Sponsors.
* Tickets are required for each attendee including parents, caregivers and support staff to ensure accurate numbers for inclusive accessibility and environmental safety.**

Start Time: 12pm ( Doors open 11:50am for registration)
End Time: 2:30pm
Location: Hall 2- Jamaican Canadian Association ( event held indoors)

• Afro- Caribbean American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters including Jamaican Patois
• Trained Sighted Guide volunteers available to support individuals impacted by blindness
• Sensory friendly items/ fidget toys and noise cancelling headphones
• Masks will be available on-site for use
• Wheel trans Drop-Off/ Pick up: accessible to drop/pick up at the Jamaican Canadian Association
• Parking: Free Parking available in the parking lot and nearby street
• Passport Funding from Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) can be used for reimbursement for your ticket purchase
• Tickets to this event are non-refundable.

Created in memory of David Conforti, a passionate volunteer and self-advocate who believed that “belonging really does matter,” this award recognizes autistic individuals who are helping build more connected, inclusive communities through their contributions.
