Our meetings are organized around an agenda that includes segments for members to practice a wide variety of skills, ranging from improvisational speaking, business meetings, debates, and of course, giving speeches. Our membership ranges from experienced and accomplished members, to new members starting their public speaking journey.Through our fun and supportive environment, where new members have access to mentoring from experienced speakers, members build self-confidence while improving their communication and leadership skills. We were the first Toastmasters club to have been chartered in the city of Toronto. Our most experienced members have been with us for many years, and continue to enjoy the challenge of improving their public speaking, communication, and leadership skills. Not only do we have quantity of years, but we have quality of speakers. Our members have been district champions seven times. In fact, the George Keenan award was named after one of our members!
