📚 Today, January 24, we recognize the International Day of Education, and we’re proud to highlight this year’s UNESCO theme: “The power of youth in co-creating education.”
Youth are a driving force for innovation and change, yet many still face barriers to quality education and decent work. That’s why involving young people as active partners in shaping modern, relevant, and inclusive learning systems is more important than ever.

Nous avons le plaisir d’annoncer quatre nouveaux partenariats stratégiques qui font progresser les priorités nationales en matière d’apprentissage intégré au travail (AIT) partout au Canada.

En collaboration avec le Conference Board du Canada, NVision Insight Group, Talent Strategy Collective et Academica Group, ces initiatives visent à explorer : 📊 Les retombées économiques de l’AIT 🧭 La revalorisation de l’AIT à travers les savoirs autochtones et des cadres inclusifs 🏢 Le renforcement de l’engagement du secteur industriel, notamment auprès des PME 📣 La mobilisation des perspectives sectorielles pour orienter les politiques futures

Ensemble, ces partenariats de recherche contribueront à façonner un écosystème d’AIT plus inclusif et fondé sur des données probantes, qui relie les personnes apprenantes et les employeurs à travers les réalités économiques, sociales et culturelles du Canada.

We’re proud to announce four new strategic partnerships advancing national priorities for work-integrated learning (WIL) across Canada.

In collaboration with the Conference Board of Canada, NVision Insight Group, Talent Strategy Collective, and Academica Group, these initiatives explore:
📊 The economic impact of WIL 🧭 Reframing WIL through Indigenous knowledge and inclusive frameworks 🏢 Strengthening industry engagement, particularly with SMEs 📣 Capturing sectoral perspectives to inform future policy

Together, these research partnerships will help shape a more inclusive, evidence-informed WIL ecosystem that connects learners and employers across Canada’s economic, social, and cultural landscape.

Ontario brought energy and ideas to CEWIL 2025, and we’re so glad you did! 🍁
It was an honour to gather on the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee, and Mississaugas of the Credit, at the site of present-day Hamilton. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect and learn on this land. ❤️ 💙
