Metrolinx still wants to go forward with the purchase of diesel trains. They are feeling the pressure! Let them know we want Electric Trains Now! Why would they spend money twice to get to the better solution of electric trains in 7-10 years from now? Electric trains should be the first and only go forward solution.

Provincial transit agency Metrolinx is recommending the controversial rail link from downtown Toronto to Pearson airport be electrified eventually, but only after diesel trains first run on the line when it opens in 2015.
