Day after day, Stella helps make our Community Lunch possible by cooking, preparing, and cleaning up meals served from 1–2 PM in our Community Kitchen at 163 Queen St E.

This past Sunday, staff and volunteers from the Toronto People With AIDS Foundation, Latinos Positivos Toronto, and Centre for the Spanish-Speaking Peoples came together to march for the International Day Against homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia.

We stand proudly with trans communities today and every day. In the face of stigma, discrimination, and growing hostility, we believe in the power of solidarity, care, and collective action. Our communities are deeply connected and when we show up for one another, we are stronger together.

Thank you to everyone who marched, organized, and continues to advocate for a world where trans people can live safely, openly, and with dignity.

Today’s International Women’s Month event brings the power of storytelling, feminism, and bold voices to the stage.

Join us from 1–2 PM at Studio 163 (lunch served!) as we welcome Suzanna Paddock, Executive Director of Toronto People With AIDS Foundation!

Suzanna will be reading some of her favourite selections from The Va**na Monologues, the groundbreaking work by V (Eve Ensler) that has sparked conversations about women’s experiences around the world.

As a young woman, Suzanna had the profound privilege of meeting the author — a moment that helped ignite her feminist awakening and deepen her commitment to advocacy and equity. Today, she brings that passion to this powerful reading and reflection.
