Tempering is controlled crystallization and yes, it’s delicious science. 🍫🔬

On Oct 7 at TMU’s CUI, our community learned how crystal structure drives gloss, snap, and mouthfeel, then tempered their own bars. Want to try it next time?

Recapping CIC-Toronto's glass workshop from June. Thank you to the skilled staff .handcrafts for showing everyone the techniques and safety.

Bringing chemists and the like out of the lab to experience glassware through a different lens. The small class was a great setting to learn all the tools and be creative with glass shaping.

Our new blog is back featuring Rhiad Gajraj, P.Eng Gajraj, a Director of Development at Generate Upcycle! With a career rooted in solid waste management, renewable energy, and wastewater treatment, Rhiad is no stranger to the complete life cycle of waste-to-value infrastructure projects in Canada, US and UK.

It was a real pleasure sitting down with Rhiad to talk about his career in the biogas industry, the challenges it faces, and his advice for young professionals. You definitely don't want to miss this interview. Link in bio!
