Organization Spotlight 🌟

What happens when college students become the mentors they once needed?

College Mentors for Kids connects young people with college student mentors through weekly, on-campus experiences designed to build confidence, inspire growth, and introduce kids to the possibilities of higher education.

What makes the organization unique is the impact on both sides. Children gain meaningful relationships and early exposure to college, while student-led collegiate chapters give mentors the opportunity to lead, serve, and make a difference in their communities.

What started with 33 kids in Indiana has grown into a nationwide mentoring network reaching thousands of children and college student volunteers.

Sometimes the best part of winning is giving it away. ❤️

When Sydney won our recent PS43 Foundation hat giveaway, she immediately thought of her best friend, a longtime fan of Pascal Siakam who has always looked to him as a source of inspiration.

After her friend moved to London for work, Sydney decided to make the moment even more special. She booked a flight to visit her, surprised her with the hat, and the two celebrated with a few photos in front of Big Ben.

What started as a simple giveaway became a story of friendship, generosity, and connection that traveled all the way from our community to London.

Thank you, Sydney, for sharing this special moment with us and for reminding us that sometimes the greatest joy comes from giving to someone else.

Before the transformation was complete, this was the starting point at the Bilingual Public School of Sekandé in Pitoa, Cameroon.

We are blessed to have worked alongside Tomorrow Education to help transform these classrooms into safer, more functional learning spaces for students and educators.

A look back at Data Dunkers in action. 🏀📊

Through basketball, students had the opportunity to explore data science, math, technology, and future career pathways in a hands-on environment at Humber College’s Barrett Centre for Technology Innovation.

From data-driven basketball activities and micro technology to creative projects and marketing challenges, the experience showed students how the skills they’re developing can translate beyond the classroom.

Together with Dell Technologies and Humber College, we’ve continued to help make STEM education more engaging, accessible, and connected to students’ interests.

What if teachers could spend less time preparing and more time teaching?

Through English Islands, educators can assess an entire class in 15 minutes, identify reading and phonics gaps, group students by skill needs, and access targeted lesson plans built around those needs.

That means less time analyzing data and building lessons from scratch, and more time focused on what matters most: supporting students.

Through our work with English Islands, we’re helping make literacy instruction more personalized for students and more manageable for educators.

Youth First is helping young people and families build healthier, stronger futures across Indiana.

Founded in 1998, the organization provides school-based mental health professionals and evidence-based prevention programs that support mental health, strengthen family relationships, develop life skills, and help prevent substance misuse.

By bringing these resources directly into schools at no cost to students and families, Youth First is helping young people access support where they spend much of their time.
