Students Supporting SickKids at York University Students Supporting SickKids (SSSK) is a unique, on-campus, charitable fundraising club at York University run entirely by student volunteers.

Founded in 2007 by a group of four students, the Club today is the largest charitable club on campus.

Hello everyone!!

Today is a very special day as it marks 148 years that Sickkids Hospital has been established as a hospital!

On April 3, 1875 the first ever patient was a 3 year old named Maggie who suffered from a scald injury. Today, we remember Maggie as being the FIRST OFFICIAL PATIENT at Sickkids Hospital!!

Today was our last event of the year! Thank you all so much for your support, we were able to sell out!

A big big shoutout goes to our execs, volunteers and the entire York University community for all your support in making this such a successful semester!🙌🏾

Hello everyone! Students supporting sickkids having another fundraising event TOMORROW! We are selling Mr. Puffs in Ross Link tomorrow from 11:30am to 4pm.

Mr Puffs are being sold in boxes ($10 a box) or individuals ($1 per puff).

All the funds are going towards Sickkids Foundation! We can’t wait to see you all!

Hello everyone!😄

Students supporting sickkids is having another IN PERSON event tomorrow!!! We are selling cake pops, cookies and cupcakes in Vari Hall tomorrow Monday March 13. All funds are going towards Sickkids Foundation.

Also all our treats will be provided by .kilgannon an award winning baker!!

We had our second winter semester sale today selling brookies and brownies! It was a great turnout, in fact we sold out on all our treat! All our funds made toward will be sent to SickKids Foundation.

Thank you all so much for the support! Big shoutout to our execs, volunteers, the entire YU community and especially for the desserts!
