If you are interested in becoming more involved, we are delighted to share that the East York-Scarborough Reading Association is currently inviting applications for executive membership from educators within the TDSB and TCDSB. Our vibrant group of dedicated volunteers includes teachers, teacher-librarians, administrators, and resource personnel who share a passion for literacy and learning.

Joining the executive offers a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and help plan a dynamic, year‑long program of literacy initiatives. Executive members are expected to attend meetings, actively contribute to the work of the association, and, over time, be open to taking on leadership responsibilities.

Monthly in‑person executive meetings take place throughout the school year, along with additional committee meetings. Meetings are typically held during the school week at 4:30 p.m.

We would be thrilled to welcome new voices and perspectives to our team and hope you will consider joining us!
