While top level volleyball spotlights shine brightly on .pickett and in Montreal this weekend, their biggest fans are by their side taking it all in. This is what it’s about. Whether our kiddos are stepping on the court for the first time or climbing to the heights of the best in the country, our hearts all melt the same witnessing their happiness and celebrating their achievements. Why is volleyball coaching so cool? 😎 Well sometimes you follow your players to tournaments. Ballistix coaches Steve Taylor and Al Gundrum both helped Jonny Pickett become the player he is today (and they are both pretty solid on the beach too 🙂 ) Remember to always say “thanks coach” as they play a role in the future “you” in so many ways.

It is so exciting to see our Grey-Bruce and Huron athletes rocking the beach. Some athletes even move far away and come back to play 🙂 has been crushing it all summer and hosting clinics, tournaments and lots of learning and fun! 🤩 What’s better than some 8x8 from Danny and Jonny to make it even sweeter. Look who we found!! Jonny Pickett, and many from Ballistix “Stix” nation in Grey-Bruce and Huron, are at Nationals this weekend in Toronto. Whether you are new to the event or been there a few times 🙂 we wish you fun, luck, health and lots of memories. So proud to see families make the long journey through a beach 🏖️ season and make it to Ashbridge’s for Nationals 🙏 Thanks to the organizers and all those volunteers who make the event happen. Here is to the past, present and future Stix who love the beach 🏖️
