We are so proud of our LINC students at SAFSS – Finch Centre! 🌟

In collaboration with the Community Arts Guild and the Toronto Arts Council, our students had a truly special opportunity to learn about Indigenous traditions of storytelling β€” and to share their own folklore and fables through the art of puppet-making and performance at the Cedar Ridge Creative Centre.

Over six weeks, they worked hand-in-hand with talented artists from diverse backgrounds, building not just creative skills, but also communication, confidence, and language abilities. The program culminated in a live performance in front of an audience β€” a meaningful milestone for so many of our students.

This experience was about so much more than art. It was about belonging, self-expression, cultural pride, and personal growth. We are grateful to everyone who made it possible, and incredibly proud of every single student who took the stage.
