Congratulations to Ken Neumann, the new president of Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees (SOAR).
Ken joined the USW as a teenager in Regina, Saskatchewan. He went on to become the president of Local 4728, before rising to District 3 Director, and was eventually elected as the National Director of Canada in 2004, 2005, 2009 and 2013. Now, he will lead our retirees who continue to stay on the front lines as labor activists.
