What a great day our young players had in the 2026 Kickstart Community Cup Tournament organized by the MLSE Foundation! ⚽🏆

They had an amazing time competing, making new friends, and representing ECCC. We’re proud to share that our 6–10-year-old team brought home a trophy, while our 11–14-year-old team were so close to winning one!

A big thank you to the MLSE Foundation for organizing this event and for their continued support of our youth and community.

ECCC SUMMER 2026 SOCCER PROGRAM HAS OFFICIALLY STARTED!! ⚽

We're excited to announce that our Youth Soccer Program for children ages 6–14 has officially started!

Whether your child is new to soccer or looking to continue developing their skills, this program offers a fun, safe, and supportive environment where young players can learn teamwork, build confidence, stay active, and enjoy the game.

📍 Location: Earlscourt Park (1200 Lansdowne Avenue)
👧🧒 Ages: 6–14
⚽ All skill levels welcome

Looking for a fun and active way to keep your kids engaged this spring and summer? Join our Outdoor Soccer Program for children aged 6 to 14 years with the Eritrean Canadian Community Centre of Metropolitan Toronto.

📍 Location: Earlscourt Park (1200 Lansdowne Ave)
📅 Schedule: Every Saturday from 3 PM to 5 PM
🗓️ Dates: April - August, 2026 (Exact Dates will be provided)

Specific information will be provided after registration

This program is a great opportunity for kids to:
✅ Learn and improve soccer skills
✅ Stay active and healthy
✅ Make new friends and build teamwork

Note: Jersey will be provided, but other soccer kits will have to be provided by parents.

Our seniors are the heart and backbone of ECCC. ❤️

They show up with wisdom, kindness, prayers, encouragement, and unwavering support in everything we do. Whether it’s community events, celebrations, or difficult moments, our seniors are always there beside us — guiding us, uplifting us, and reminding us of the strength of community. Last week, they proudly stood alongside us as we received the 2026 Toronto Community Champions Award.

At ECCC, we believe that building strong communities means honouring and learning from the generations who paved the way before us. Their resilience, love, and guidance continue to inspire our work every day, and we are deeply grateful to walk this journey alongside them.
