A great evening with She’s4Sports surrounded by women helping shape the future of sport from every angle: media, partnerships, business, leadership, and community.

One of the strongest takeaways from the conversation? True progress requires representation, but it also takes persistence, advocacy, data, investment, and people willing to open doors and keep pushing the conversation forward.

During the event, Leah MacNab, Head of International Strategy & Operations with the NBA, spoke about the work behind bringing the WNBA to Toronto, highlighting that major milestones are often backed by years of strategy, relationship-building, and proof that there is both an audience and a community ready to support women’s sports at a larger scale.

It was also special running into familiar faces and long-standing connections. From partners and collaborators to community builders and athletes, the event itself reflected how interconnected this work really is.

Thank you to for continuing to create space for these conversations and for amplifying the voices of women across sport.

Somewhere along the way, asking for help started to feel like a last resort.

Something you only do when you’ve run out of answers.

But that thinking keeps you stuck longer than the problem itself.

You don’t get extra points for doing life alone.
And you don’t have to carry this much by yourself.

The people around you are part of how you move forward.

Sometimes, progress looks like letting someone in.
Letting yourself be supported.
Letting it be shared.

You’re allowed to reach for that.

Did you know you can juggle deadlines without burning out?

That’s what locking-in helps you achieve.

Hustle culture’s pretty sneaky but you don’t have to lose yourself. You can be deeply productive without burnout.

Here are three micro-hacks you can try today to protect your energy and get more done:

- Move often: Take 60–90 seconds active breaks throughout your day, it cuts stress and boosts focus (BPS, 2024).
- Block meeting-free time daily or weekly: Keep 2–3 hrs meeting-free so you can work with flow (MIT SMR, 2022).
- Soak up daylight: Even 10 mins by a window can improve mood and attention (Sleep Health Journal, 2024).

Burnout is a signal to readjust. Protect your boundaries and set up habits that keep your brain sharp and your spirit sane.

Drop your focus hacks below and tag a friend who needs this reminder.
