ehm (Evangel Hall Mission) We operate on the principle of loving one’s neighbor as one’s self and welcome all.

EHM is an inner-city mission of the Presbyterian Church in Canada that cares for poor, homeless and socially isolated people through housing, services and advocacy. ehm provides supports for people who are homeless or who are living in unstable housing. We offer an Adult Drop In Centre with hot meals everyday, after-school programming for youth, financial planning and trusteeship, a free dental cl

inic, support and referrals for people living with mental health and/or addictions. We provide stable, clean, supportive housing to 110 individuals and families.

This Easter, help protect a promise.

We’re raising $35,000 to help seniors at Evangel Hall Mission continue receiving the daily, personalized care that allows them to remain safely housed. 🏡

More seniors in Toronto are losing housing later in life, and when that happens in your 60s or 70s, the impact can be devastating. At EHM, we believe seniors deserve more than temporary shelter — they deserve the stability, care, and dignity of a place they do not have to leave behind.

In 2024–2025, EHM supported 21,023 individuals through essential programs and services.

At Evangel Hall Mission, “having each other’s backs” is more than a saying. It’s how community shows up every day. It’s moments like this. Neighbours and staff together in the same room. Ron sharing stories and laughter in a place he now calls home. Doris bringing people together through food, care, and connection. And it’s you. Today, we’re aiming to raise $30,000 to help more neighbours find home this winter.

Your gift provides warm meals, essential supplies, and trusted support for people rebuilding their lives, just like Ron.

After 13 years without a home, Ron has spent more than three decades as part of the EHM community.

“EHM’s had my back for 32 years,” he says.
