Canada-Poland Chamber of Commerce is excited to launch our new Featured Member series, highlighting the businesses and organizations that make up our growing Polish-Canadian business community.

Our first feature is Wise Device Inc. (WDI), a Polish-Canadian family business built on innovation, perseverance, and community.

Founded in 2005 by Dr. Adam Weiss (PhD), with the help of his wife Dorothy Weiss and daughters Halszka and Marcelina Weiss, WDI has grown from a small family venture into a team of around 80 employees, developing and manufacturing advanced microscopy automation technologies used by companies around the world.

Continuing her father’s legacy, Halszka Weiss became President in 2019. Her Polish heritage continues to influence WDI’s commitment to education, innovation, and community.

Giving back is equally important to WDI, which supports university students through bursaries, welcomes student co-op opportunities, and contributes to community organizations and charitable causes.

In 2026, WDI received the Excellence in Advanced Technology Award at the CPCC Excellence Awards Gala, recognizing its innovation and contributions to advanced technology.

We are proud to have WDI as part of Canada-Poland Chamber of Commerce community!
