🚨 WANTED: SOCIAL MEDIA WIZARD 🚨

Do you spend way too much time on Facebook and Instagram anyway? Do your friends ask why your camera roll is 97% dogs? Do you know the difference between a good post and a post that gets buried by the algorithm?

If so, New Life for Paws may have the volunteer opportunity for you! 🐾

We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist to help our puppies and adult dogs find their forever homes.

🐶 Your Mission (should you choose to accept it):
• Create posts that make people fall in love with our adoptable dogs
• Post regularly on Facebook and Instagram
• Respond to comments and engage with followers
• Help grow our reach so more people see our adorable, adoptable pups
• Make sure all information shared about our dogs is accurate (because telling people a 20-pound puppy is 80 pounds tends to cause problems 😆)

✨ Bonus points if you have:
• Marketing experience and know how to outsmart the Facebook algorithm
• Canva skills
• Squarespace experience (our website would love some attention)

🐾 We need someone who:
• Has a “work smarter, not harder” mentality
• Is tech-savvy
• Pays attention to details
• Works well with a team
• Isn’t easily offended

Let’s be real—rescue can be chaotic. Sometimes there are emergencies. Sometimes there are 47 messages about the same puppy. Sometimes someone accidentally posts the wrong photo. We laugh, we fix it, and we keep moving because the dogs are counting on us. ❤️

⏰ Average commitment: About 10 hours per week, depending on how many furry freeloaders are currently in our care.

🌎 Best part? You can do this from anywhere in the world! Your coworkers will be a bunch of dog-loving weirdos who celebrate adoption updates like they’re winning the Super Bowl.

❤️ Reward package includes:
• Unlimited dog photos
• New friendships
• The satisfaction of helping dogs find families
• Occasional happy tears when an adoption post works its magic

Two Stunning Long Haired Shepherds - Rocky (M) 8 years and Adrienne (F) 6 years need a new home ASAP.
THEY ARE NOT IN A GREAT SITUATION.

‼️NEW HOME NEEDED - RURAL SETTING‼️

They are friendly, wonderful loving dogs, great with children, good with other dogs (as long as they have good manners). They chase small animals, so no cats.

Rocky comes with a bowling ball, for some reason he has taken quite a liking to it and plays with it all the time. 🎳

They have some leash training as they were often included in tours at a vineyard on their leashes, so that guests could interact with them.

As they are farm dogs, they have not been altered but will be prior to adoption.

Adoption application, interview and home visit for any interested adopters. Safety of these dogs comes first!!

‼️PLEASE PLEASE SHARE ‼️ especially if you have connections with anyone who lives in the country or has a sizeable property.

We’d like to introduce you to our newest Canadian ‘Carfie’, Ferris!

We’d also like to thank his wonderful Flight Angel 😇 and Foster Mom, Jen, for accompanying him on his journey to finding his forever home. 👏🏻💙🥰

He’s already settling in with his foster siblings (2 Labs and a Golden Retriever) and learning the ropes. In fact, little Ferris has already taken his first dip in a Canadian lake!

Stay tuned for more!

From Dierenbescherming Curacao:
And today concludes another sterilization project, in collaboration with CARF Curacao and thanks to Dr. Tjitske Roest and her 3 assistants who came from Holland to operate in our clinic at the shelter.
In part thanks to leftover medications of last week's team, for which in 3 days they were able to spay and neuter an additional 52 dogs and cats. ❤🐾💪
Yet another act very much appreciated!

Please consider helping these pups on their journey to their forever homes.

Don't hesitate to get in touch with me directly if you're interested - [email protected]

A foster home means a dog rescued, a dog out of our sanctuary opening a spot for another who desperately needs our help, and a dog that will get a happily ever after. ❤

Update: we have received a few offers so we will try to get these boys home!

✈️ Flight Angel Needed: Curaçao → Toronto (between April 15th - 24th) 🐾

We’re looking for a kind traveler flying directly from Curaçao to Toronto within the next two weeks (between Wednesday, April 15th - April 24th) who can help es**rt one or two adorable rescue pups to their forever future 💛

Meet Ferris & Figo 🐶🐶
These sweet boys are coming from CARF Curaçao and have been lovingly cared for in a foster home. They’re very friendly, well-socialized, and ready for their next chapter!

What’s involved?
• The pup / pup will travel in the cabin with you, safely in a carrier
• All costs for the pup(s) and paperwork are fully covered
• A trusted person will meet you at the Toronto airport to pick them up

You’d simply be their travel buddy on the flight ✈️

If you (or someone you know) are making this trip and can help, please reach out! You’d be giving these pups the chance at a wonderful life 🐾❤️

Thank you for being part of their journey 💕

The dog in the video was rescued, rehabilitated, and adopted by a loving family, but most Galgos (hunting dogs) in Spain are not. PLEASE take 1 minute to SIGN THE PETITION AND SHARE IT. The link is in the comments section.

Up to 50,000 voiceless dogs face the terrifying fate of being thrown down wells, hung from trees, tied to railroad tracks, or dumped by the roadside as Spain's hunting season draws to an end between January and April.

Heartless Spanish hunters discard these working dogs, known as Galgos, so they do not have to pay for food to keep them alive after the season ends.

Animal welfare organizations estimate that Spain has 200,000 registered Galgueros, who own up to ten dogs each, and that up to 50,000 Greyhounds are killed or abandoned at the end of each season.

Animal welfare organizations (charities) struggle to cope with the influx of abandoned dogs, many of whom are injured and left to fend for themselves. Others are left to die in wells, with cruel owners blocking up the entrance with wood so there is no chance of escape.

Galgos, a member of the Sighthound family and a distant relation to British Greyhounds, are used for hunting and for hare coursing, where two dogs compete to run down a hare over open land. Galgos are naturally calm, loving and gentle animals, but they are deprived of all love and don't know what that is. The ones that do survive are deeply traumatized and have trust issues to begin with, but they can be rehomed and given the love and life they deserve.

The Animal Welfare organizations can only help the tip of the iceberg, so the answer is a complete ban on hunting with Galgos!!!!
⚠️PLEASE HELP by SHARING this post and SIGNING the petition!!!!⚠️
