Their winning proposal—a web-based smart Tamil dictionary—will help Tamil Canadians reconnect with their heritage language by simplifying the process of learning and understanding Tamil. With their expertise in linguistics, computer science, and community-based teaching, Shankhalika and Sabrina are addressing a meaningful challenge for Canada’s Tamil community.
