Immediate Release: Appointment of Melissa Aploinario- Lemos as Mrs. Canadian 26th Edition.

This is to announce that the Executive Committee of Miss Canada Globe Productions has made a decision to appoint Melissa Apolinario- Lemios as the first Mrs. Canadian 2026 (26th edition).

Melissa Apolinario was Miss Canada Globe 2007 2nd Princess and represented MCGP at Miss Tourism Planet International 2008, winning Miss Friendship.

During her service (reign) as Miss Canadian Tourism Planet 2007 (Miss Canada Globe 2007/08 2nd Runner- up), she has shown her excellent commitment with MCGP by numerous appearances to charity events, showing ambassadorship skills and sisterhood mentorship and the next edition of MCGP titleholders.

With these characteristics that Melissa had shown us, we decided to appoint her as Mrs, Canadian 26th edition in which she is entitled to a $5,000.00 performance based cash prize and will represent Canada at an international MRS. Pageant upon completing her service as an ambassador titleholder of MCgP.

Every step matters. Over the weekend, Mrs. of Canada, Debra Larsen, stood shoulder-to-shoulder with families, survivors, and allies at the Sisters in Spirit Walk in downtown Calgary. Walking to the sound of unity and remembrance, she joined a national movement dedicated to healing communities, raising awareness, and ensuring that no sister is ever forgotten. ❤️✊🏾

An incredibly powerful and inspiring morning in Calgary! Mrs. of Canada 2026, Debra Larsen, proudly stood alongside thousands
of Calgarians at Southcentre Mall to support the annual Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure. As a dedicated Indigenous titleholder and community leader, Debra joined the beautiful sea of pink to help bring awareness and champion a cause that touches so many families across the nation.
The highlight of the event was a wonderful crossing of paths! Debra had the absolute pleasure of meeting up with Alexa Gabriel, the Miss Canada Globe Productions (MCGP) social media correspondent. Alexa was out on the course walking in support of the cause alongside her amazing mom and brother, proving that the MCGP sisterhood and family bonds shine bright both on and off the runway.

With 1 in 8 women in Canada facing a breast cancer diagnosis in their lifetime, showing up matters. The energy in Calgary was unmatched, with the local community rallying together to raise over $1.1 million to fund groundbreaking research and life-saving treatments. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the organizers, participants, and families who made this beautiful day possible! Together, we are creating a future without breast cancer. 🌸✨

An inspiring day of action in Saskatoon! The reigning Ms. of Canada 26th Edition, Josie Kashindi, proudly laced up her sneakers to participate in the annual Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure! True to the Humanitarian Award she earned on her path to the national crown, Josie is continuing to use her platform to walk the walk, championing critical healthcare causes and standing in solidarity with her community.

With 1 in 8 women in Canada projected to be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, every single step counts. Events like this raise crucial funds for life-saving research and provide a powerful, compassionate support system so that no patient or survivor has to walk their journey alone.
