Another year starts up for the Ashbridges Bay Nature Stewards working with the Toronto Nature Stewards (TNS) https://torontonaturestewards.org/ at Ashbridges Bay Park.
TNS has grown from 8 Pilot sites with 150 stewards in 2021 to now in 2025, 48 sites with our prediction of having 1,000 stewards! Our volunteer-based group along with our relationship with the City of Toronto is proving to be a huge success.
We will be stewarding weekly from May 7 until mid November. We have 2 sessions. One starting on Wed. May 7, 9-11am, (rain dates will always be the next day on Thursdays 9-11am), and secondly starting this Thurs. May 8 from 6.30-8.30pm.
