International Society of Appraisers - Canadian Chapter ISA Canada, the Canadian chapter of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA), is a not for profit professional organization of qualified appraisers.

ISA Canada, the Canadian chapter of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA), is a not for profit professional organization of qualified appraisers with members from across the country. ISA Canada members:

* Have expertise in all types of appraisals and appraisal-related services including donations, estate liquidations, estate tax appraisals, insurance coverage and damage claims

* Provi

de services to Canada’s most distinguished museums and collectors

* Are referred by insurance and wealth management advisors for their professionalism and knowledge

* Offer expertise in many specialty areas including antiques, books and maps, collectibles, decorative and residential contents, fine art, gems and jewellery, and textiles

* Have successfully completed the highest standard of personal property training which must be renewed and updated on a regular basis

* Work collaboratively in a strong national network of highly specialized knowledge, skill and experience

ISA Canada Members have successfully completed comprehensive training in the valuation of personal property and prepare appraisal reports that comply with the Report Writing Standard and Code of Ethics of the International Society of Appraisers and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) of the Appraisal Foundation – the primary valuation standard setting and qualifications body for personal property appraisals.
