🎤 GB Got Talent is back, and we're looking for the most talented students at George Brown! Whether you sing, dance, perform spoken word, play an instrument, showcase comedy, or have a unique talent, this is your chance to take the stage and shine. 

Auditions will take place on the following dates:
📍 Casa Loma Campus | Student Centre – Room E126 | November 3 & November 11
📍 St. James Campus | King's Lounge – Room 150F | November 4 & November 12
📍 Waterfront Campus | SA Office – Room 033 | November 5

Auditions will run from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Save a life!
Learn about the opioid-use epidemic in Toronto, some approaches to limit their harm, and how you can save someone's life if they're overdosing on opioids.
Naloxone is a safe and free drug that helps reverse an opioid overdose. You'll learn about fentanyl, oxycodone, he**in, and other opioids that are being used.

Registration is highly recommended, but you can also show up at the training without one.

Happy World Food Day! SNAP will be serving waffles to recognize World Food Day and the importance of ending global hunger, promoting food security, and advocating for food system transformation as food is universal basic human right. Come find SNAP in SA's student lounge spaces to enjoy a brunch of waffles and share design ideas for SNAP's tote bag, all while learning about actions you can take for a just food system.

What happens at an Annual General Meeting? And why should you be there?

The AGM is a chance for all of our full-time student members to gather and hear from the Student Association about what we're doing, how we're doing it, and how you'll benefit from it. As members of the Student Association, you have the right to this information.

At this year’s AGM we’ll also be bringing significant bylaw changes to the table which will greatly benefit students and those who choose to run for office. Join us to learn more and vote on whether these changes take effect.

This October, take a break from midterm stress and join SNAP and CCC for a free three-part wellness workshop series in the St. James Campus Quiet Lounge!

In recognition of World Mental Health Day and Mental Health Awareness Month, you are invited to relax, recharge, and connect through activities focused on art, movement, and food while learning practical self-care strategies and available wellness supports.

Sessions run from 12:00PM to 1:00PM over three weeks in October, with peer support, meaningful conversations, and free snacks and refreshments included. Let's destress and decompress!🩵✨
