On October 7th, 2023, the Herat province in Afghanistan was shaken to its core by a series of devastating earthquakes. As of today the 8th of October 2023 the toll has been catastrophic with over 2,000 lives tragically lost, thousands left injured, more than 1300 houses destroyed and more than 10 entire villages vanished from the face of the earth.

These earthquakes have left a trail of unimaginable destruction, pain, and suffering. Families have been torn apart, homes reduced to rubble, and communities shattered. The survivors are now facing a daunting struggle for survival, with their lives forever changed.
