You're invited to a free community screening of the documentary 'Common Territory' presented in partnership with Connecting Grids. This powerful film explores the shared experiences of newcomers and Indigenous People, weaving together personal stories about displacement, belonging, cultural preservation, and connection to the land.

The screening will be open to everyone, all ages and background are encouraged to attend. Following the film, there will be a sharing circle where local Indigenous elders and newcomers will share stories and reflections to foster understanding and connections.

Northeast Newcomer Services is please to invite newcomers to a fishing experience designed to promote wellness, social connections, and outdoor recreation experiences, to learn about fish species that are found in Saskatchewan.

This activity offers participants an opportunity to learn fishing skills, laws and regulations pertaining fishing and to learn about fish species that are found in Saskatchewan.

No fishing experience is required. Equipment and basic guidance will be provided.

***Participation is free, but registration is required as spaces are limited
