Meet Tisdale’s New RCMP Detachment Sergeant, Seth Gouw!
With 13.5 years of service in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Sergeant Gouw brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to community-focused policing to his new role in Tisdale. His career has taken him from Foam Lake and Shaunavon, Saskatchewan, to communities across Alberta, before returning to Saskatchewan to serve as Detachment Commander in Tisdale.
Sergeant Gouw believes that effective policing goes beyond enforcement—it is built on trust, visibility, and meaningful relationships. Throughout his career, he has prioritized connecting with residents, understanding local needs, and fostering strong partnerships within the community. He is equally dedicated to mentoring and supporting his members, helping build a positive and accountable team environment.
Proud to serve rural Saskatchewan, Sergeant Gouw is committed to making a lasting, positive impact. He and his family are happy to call Tisdale home and are excited to be part of the community’s future.
