Northeastern Ontario Multicultural Centre We serve the communities of Hearst, Cochrane, Black River-Matheson, Earlton, Matachewan, Kapuskasing, Kirkland Lake and Iroquois Falls.

The Northeastern Ontario Multicultural Centre is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing settlement services for immigrants in Timmins and the surrounding area. We offer many different services for newcomers, including assistance with the completion of government forms, job search and job preparation, help with issues regarding health, education, housing, consumer and community informatio

n, English as a second language, and much more! We offer programs that involve matching newcomers with volunteers (either individually or with a small group), which provides an opportunity for newcomers to ask questions, take part in different activities, and develop friendships. — New volunteers are always welcome!

Le Centre multiculturel de Timmins est une organisation à but non lucratif dédiée à fournir des services d'établissement pour les immigrants à Timmins et du district. Nous servons les communautés de Hearst, Cochrane, Black River-Matheson, Earlton, Matachewan, Kapuskasing, Kirkland Lake et Iroquois Falls. Nous offrons de nombreux services pour les nouveaux arrivants, y compris l'aide à l'achèvement des formulaires gouvernementaux, la recherche d'emploi et préparation à l'emploi, on aide avec les questions concernant la santé, l'éducation, le logement, la consommation et de la communauté d'informations, l'anglais comme langue seconde, et bien plus encore! We are excited to officially launch registrations for the 33rd Annual Welcome to Timmins Night, taking place on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the McIntyre Curling Club.
For over three decades, this event has connected newcomers and long-time residents with the organizations, services, businesses, and community groups that help make Timmins a welcoming place to live, work, and thrive.

We are currently inviting both new and returning exhibitors to participate in this year's event. Welcome to Timmins Night is an excellent opportunity to showcase your services and connect directly with all residents

We look forward to welcoming familiar faces back while introducing new organizations to our growing network of community partners
