Working with our Community Partners!

Our superhero Kin Club of Timmins stepped up!

With a $3,000 donation, they’re helping make sure children who were left on the Ready for School waitlist get the support they need.

Thank you for stepping up for our community and turning your superpower - giving back - into an incredible impact. ❤️

Not all superheroes wear capes, some wear Kin Club of Timmins Shirts!

Meeting community needs one project at a time ❤️

Congratulations to all Kin Canada members for collectively raising over $32.7 million for Canadian communities in our 2025/26 Kin Year!

Every community in Canada has different needs. Local service clubs - like Kin - give volunteers a space to help ensure those needs are met. Do you have a club making a difference in your city or town? Find out at www.kincanada.ca/find-a-club.

Please consider signing up for a food box. You'll enjoy the fresh fruit and veggies and Anti-Hunger Coalition Timmins will be able to fund food boxes for vulnerable people such as seniors, those living alone, caregivers to children or seniors, people with a low income as well as those for whom housing costs are the main barrier to accessing fresh food.

Orders are due every first Thursday of the month and ready on the third Thursday of the month. Pick up at one of the host sites around town or at ACT itself is completely free. Delivery is a flat $3 per order/household, regardless of the number of boxes ordered for a given month.
(Thank you Sylvie Lamarche Lacroix for the excellent info🤩)

EDIT: We will be doing a Good Food Box info series soon. Please follow us to know more 🙏

🌟Timmins, we need your help to keep the Good Food Box strong.💪

Every month, the Good Food Box delivers fresh, affordable produce to households across our city. Seniors living alone, caregivers juggling tight budgets, families facing rising housing costs, and neighbours who simply can’t stretch their grocery dollars any further.

We have the funding to support people who cannot afford a box. But right now, 64% of all boxes rely on that funding, and that’s not sustainable long‑term.

🙏Here’s where you make a real difference. 🙏

When you buy a Good Food Box for your own home, you’re doing far more than feeding your family:

♦ You help us purchase more produce from local farmers;
♦ Larger community orders mean better wholesale prices;
♦ Better prices mean we can include more fresh food in every box;

And that strengthens the entire program for the people who rely on it most!

♦ Your box keeps this program healthy.
♦ Your box supports local growers.
♦ Your box helps us feed more neighbours with dignity.

To ensure a more sustainable Good Food Box program in Timmins, the most powerful thing you can do is order a box for yourself each month.

📦 Order by e‑transfer, cheque, cash, or online.

One box helps your household.
A community of boxes helps everyone.
