The City of Timmins is looking for residents to serve on the 2026 Municipal Election Compliance Audit Committee.

Interested applicants with accounting, auditing, and legal experience are encouraged to apply before Friday, June 19, 2026.

This committee reviews applications for compliance audits related to municipal and school board elections.

After eight years serving in municipal politics, I’ve decided not to run in the next election. It has been an honour to serve our community, and I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together over the years.

I want to congratulate those stepping forward to run for Council and Mayor, and encourage others who care about our city to do the same. Strong leadership and fresh ideas will help continue building a stronger community for the future. Thank you to everyone for the support throughout this journey.

It’s official, I’m running for Mayor.

This has been a decision I’ve taken seriously, and I’m stepping into it with a clear focus on making a meaningful impact in our community. To keep everything organized and transparent, we’ve launched a dedicated campaign page where we’ll be sharing updates, priorities, and ways to get involved.
