A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported our BBQ yesterday! It was a fantastic day, and we couldn’t have asked for a better turnout.

Your support means so much to us and helps strengthen the bond between our firefighters and the community we are proud to serve. We loved seeing so many familiar and new faces, and we hope everyone enjoyed the food, the fire trucks, and spending time together.

Please try to limit your time outdoors today as the smoke from the forest fires in northwestern Ontario is causing poor air quality in much of southern Ontario. The poor air quality is expected to last overnight and conditions are expected to improve for tomorrow.

When indoors, keep windows and doors closed as much as possible. Please do not call 911 if you smell smoke in the air. Only call 911 if you see large plumes of smoke in the air.
